Online ordering & your storefront
On this page
Your storefront is a customer-facing ordering page that shares your catalogue, prices, and stock with the register โ so there is one thing to keep up to date, not two.
Turning it on
Enable online ordering on the store under Settings โ Stores. Products marked as available online appear with their images, descriptions, prices, and modifier options. Customers reach your storefront on your SalesPoint360 subdomain or your own custom domain.
Order types
Accept delivery, pickup, and dine-in, each with its own settings โ delivery area and fee, preparation time, and opening hours.
Taking payment online
Configure a gateway under Settings โ General โ Payment (Stripe, PayPal, Square, WiPay, or First Atlantic Commerce) with your own credentials. Payment settings never fall back to platform defaults, so money always lands in your account. Cash on delivery is available for delivery orders if you enable it under Settings, and you can cap the order value it applies to. Delivery orders are prepaid unless you turn it on. The switch is under Settings โ General โ Storefront. A COD order arrives unpaid on purpose and stays that way until someone records the money: open it from Sales โ Online Orders and use Record collection. The COD to collect filter on that page lists every delivery still owing. If the driver comes back short, record what they actually brought โ the order stays unpaid and the shortfall stays visible, which is the point.
Managing incoming orders
Orders arrive under Sales โ Online Orders and, in restaurant mode, on the kitchen display. Move an order through its stages โ received, preparing, ready, out for delivery, completed โ and the customer's tracking page updates as you go. Status changes can notify them by email or SMS.
Delivery tracking
Assign a driver, record their phone number, and give an estimated time. Customers follow progress on a status page, and the delivery record keeps the estimated and actual times for later comparison.
Stock and pricing
Online orders draw down the same stock as the register, so you cannot oversell. Coupons, bundles, and group pricing apply online exactly as they do in store.
Other public pages
Alongside the storefront you can publish a booking page for appointments, a rental catalogue, a queue check-in kiosk, and digital menu boards for screens in the shop.
Note: your business can rename menu items (Settings โ POS Configuration โ Menu Labels), so the names in your menu may differ from those shown here.
