Invoices & recurring billing

Invoicing sits under Finance → Invoices. It covers one-off bills, scheduled billing, and everything in between.

Raising an invoice

Pick the customer, add lines, set the due date and terms. Invoices move through draft → sent → paid, with overdue and void as the other outcomes. Partial payments are normal and tracked against the balance.

Getting paid

Send the invoice and the customer gets a link to a public payment page — again, no login. They can pay by card through your gateway, and with Stripe you can also offer wallets and pay-later options. Payment is recorded automatically and the invoice settles itself.

You can also take payment yourself from the invoice with Charge Card Now, which uses the gateway's own secure fields — card numbers never reach SalesPoint360.

Recurring invoices

For anything that repeats, create a recurring invoice with a frequency — weekly, monthly, quarterly, or yearly. Invoices generate on schedule and can charge a saved card automatically, falling back to emailing a payment link if the charge fails.

Monthly schedules anchor to their start date and clamp to the end of shorter months, so a series that starts on the 31st does not drift down to the 28th after February.

Reminders

Set a reminder schedule and SalesPoint360 chases before and after the due date on your behalf. It is the least awkward form of credit control there is.

Invoices and the register

An invoice can be pulled into the POS to settle at the counter, so a customer paying in person does not need a second transaction to reconcile later.

Where they show up

Customers see their invoices in the customer portal. Internally, AR Aging shows what is outstanding and how late it is.

Note: your business can rename menu items (Settings → POS Configuration → Menu Labels), so the names in your menu may differ from those shown here.
