Receipts: printing, emailing & customising
On this page
SalesPoint360 can print a thermal receipt, email or text a digital one, and produce a gift receipt that hides prices. What appears on it is configured under Settings → General → POS Config → Receipt, with a live preview beside the options.
What you can change
The receipt carries your logo and trading details, and you control which blocks appear — your address and phone, the tax breakdown, the cashier's name, the customer's name and loyalty balance, a barcode of the sale number, and header and footer text of your own. A refund policy can be printed automatically.
Receipts can also print in the customer's language. If your business serves more than one, enable the languages you need and the layout follows.
Printing
Turn on auto-print and a receipt prints the instant a sale completes. Otherwise, print from the post-sale screen, or reprint any past sale from Sales → Transactions.
On desktop, printing goes to the connected USB printer. On iOS and Android it goes to a paired Bluetooth printer — note that the mobile apps route printing through the native bridge rather than the browser's print dialog, so the paired printer is used automatically.
Digital receipts
Email or text the receipt from the payment screen. Digital receipts link to a secure, signed page — the link works without a login but cannot be edited or guessed for another sale. They are also where a customer can leave a star rating, which feeds the receipt feedback report.
Gift receipts
Tick gift receipt to print a copy with prices removed, optionally with a gift message. The recipient can still return the item because the sale reference is on it.
Reprints and returns
Find a sale in Sales → Transactions, or scan the barcode on the printed receipt at the register, to reprint or start a return against it.
Training mode
Sales rung in training mode print a receipt clearly marked as not valid and are excluded from your reports — the safe way to teach a new cashier on a live till.
Note: your business can rename menu items (Settings → POS Configuration → Menu Labels), so the names in your menu may differ from those shown here.
