SP360 Lite — the offline-first register

SP360 Lite is a lightweight register for Windows, macOS, iOS, and Android that completes a full sale with no network at all and syncs into your existing SalesPoint360 account the moment it reconnects. It is built for pop-ups, markets, food trucks, and anywhere the internet is unreliable — while still using the exact same prices and rules as your main register.
How it is different from offline mode
The web POS has a degraded offline queue for short outages. Lite is the real thing: a purpose-built app that stores your catalogue and sales locally, prices every cart with the same engine as the server (held identical to the cent by an automated test suite), and is designed to run for a full trading day with no signal.
Pair the device
On first run, pair Lite to your account with your account slug, email, and password. Pairing downloads your catalogue and stores a secure, encrypted device credential — the device is now tied to your business and ready to sell. Each device pairs to its own register.
Selling offline
Ring sales exactly as you would online — scan or tap items, apply discounts, and take payment:
- Cash and external card work with no network.
- Gift cards and store credit can be redeemed offline within safe limits — Lite caps a redemption at the balance it last saw and a per-transaction ceiling, so a card can't be over-drawn while you are disconnected.
- Receipts print to a paired Bluetooth printer.
How syncing works
When the device reconnects, Lite pulls before it pushes: it refreshes your catalogue and the latest gift-card and store-credit balances, then uploads the day's sales. Every sale lands in your account with the canonical sale number alongside the device's own local number, so a support query by either one resolves. Uploads are idempotent — a dropped connection mid-sync never double-posts a sale.
When to use Lite
- A market stall, festival, or delivery run where signal comes and goes.
- A second, always-ready till that never waits on the network to open.
- Any site where a few minutes of downtime should never stop you selling.
For always-connected locations, the web POS register remains the fullest experience; Lite is the offline-first companion that guarantees you can always take the sale.
