Stores, registers & multiple locations
On this page
Every sale in SalesPoint360 belongs to a store, and every store has one or more registers. Getting this structure right early makes reporting, stock, and staff permissions fall into place.
Add a store
Go to Settings → Stores and create a store with its name, address, phone, and timezone. The address and contact details print on receipts and appear on invoices, so use the trading details your customers expect to see.
Each store also carries its own switches for the ways it trades:
- Restaurant mode — tables, floor plan, modifiers, and the kitchen display.
- Online ordering — publishes this store's menu to your storefront.
- Appointment booking — exposes bookable services and staff.
Add registers
Under Settings → Stores, add a register for each till, tablet, or lane. Cashiers pick a store and register at sign-in, then open a shift on it. Keeping one register per physical station is what makes drawer counts and end-of-day reports reconcile.
Running several locations
Products, customers, and settings are shared across your whole business, while stock, sales, and shifts are tracked per store. That means you can:
- See stock for one product across every location before promising it to a customer.
- Move stock with a transfer instead of an untracked adjustment.
- Compare locations side by side in reports, or filter any report to a single store.
Assigning staff to a store
When you add a user you can pin them to a store, so they only see that location's registers and data. Managers who cover several sites are left unassigned and can pick any store at sign-in.
How many stores can I have?
Your plan sets the limit — from a single store on the entry plans up to unlimited on Enterprise. If the Add Store button reports you have reached your limit, upgrade under Settings → Billing & Plan and the new allowance applies immediately.
Note: your business can rename menu items (Settings → POS Configuration → Menu Labels), so the names in your menu may differ from those shown here.
