The customer portal: orders, loyalty & invoices

A customer checking their orders on their phone

The customer portal is a self-service area where your customers see their own history and manage their own details — which is a great deal cheaper than answering the same questions by phone.

Signing up

Customers can register themselves from your storefront or the portal link. If email verification is required, they confirm their address before signing in. Existing customers you created in the back office can be invited to claim their record.

What customers can see and do

  • Orders — full history with detail, and live tracking for delivery orders.
  • Loyalty — points balance, tier and progress, transaction history, and gift-card balances.
  • Invoices — outstanding invoices, with online payment.
  • Appointments and reservations — book, reschedule, or cancel.
  • Favourites — saved products for faster reordering.
  • Payment methods — securely stored cards for future purchases.
  • Profile — contact details and address.

Installing it like an app

The portal is a progressive web app: customers can add it to their home screen and opt in to push notifications for order updates.

Saved cards

Cards are tokenised by your payment gateway — SalesPoint360 never stores a card number. Saved cards are what make one-tap reordering and automatic recurring invoice payment possible.

Queue and order status

Where you use queues, customers see their live position. Delivery orders get a progress page showing each stage as it happens, so 'where is my order' answers itself.

Encouraging sign-ups

The strongest prompts are at the moments customers already care: the digital receipt, the order confirmation email, and a loyalty sign-up link on your storefront.
