Property rentals & leasing
On this page
The property module manages real estate alongside the rest of your business — short-term holiday lets, long-term residential leases, or a mix of both in the same building.
Properties and units
Start under Property Rentals → Properties & Units. A property holds the address, ownership, and shared details; each unit is what actually gets let. A unit's rental type can be short-term, long-term, or both, so one building can mix nightly rooms with an annual tenancy upstairs.
Bookings and leases
Bookings are short stays with nightly or weekly rates, availability, and deposits. Leases are long tenancies with a term, a rent schedule, and a deposit. Activating a lease sets up recurring rent invoices automatically, so rent bills itself each period.
Rent Roll shows every active tenancy and what is due; Turnover & Vacancy shows what is empty and what is about to be.
Tenants and applications
Prospects come in through public listings and Applications, can be screened with your own screening provider, and book Showings. Leases can be signed electronically, and move-in and move-out inspections capture photos.
Tenants get a portal to pay rent online, raise maintenance requests with photos, and message you.
Owners and money
Where you manage on someone else's behalf, record the owner of record and produce Owner Statements with management fees, deposits held, and payouts. Bank details and tax identifiers are encrypted and shown masked.
Maintenance
Requests flow into Maintenance, get assigned to Contractors, and bill back to the owner or absorb into your fees. Contractors have their own portal for assigned work orders.
Multi-currency and jurisdiction
Rent, deposits and statements work in multiple currencies, and lease rules follow the jurisdiction — deposit caps, notice periods, and tax handling differ by market.
Note: your business can rename menu items (Settings → POS Configuration → Menu Labels), so the names in your menu may differ from those shown here.
